Who should attend?

If you are a person working in the development sector and want to build your capacity to ensure access to rights and entitlements for yourself and your community, then this program is for you. The program is for all people or organizations interested in facilitating the empowerment of communities like Development Sector Organizations, Civil Society Networks, Local Self Government Bodies, Government Agencies and Funding Organizations.

We can help build your capabilities and understanding to facilitate this change in your community. All the while, also provides opportunities for perspective building and sharpening your skills to catalyze change and equip your community to find constitutional means of addressing their issues and to take charge of their progress. You will also become part of a larger network of people who share your concerns and aim to make a difference. 


The entire training program is highly interactive, engaging, experiential and facilitated towards knowledge gain and critically examining things around us. We use case studies, games, quizzes, and reflective exercises with ample opportunities for discussion and raising questions. The cohort size, time slots, and the overall training components are designed in a manner to most effectively achieve learning outcomes and create maximum impact.

Constitutional Vision and Values

Context setting and getting to know each other.
Introduction to the Constitution of India.
A deep dive into the Preamble of the Constitution.

Managing Trustee

Vinita Gursahani Singh

Her main focus, over the last 25 years, has been in building people’s capacities on constitutional rights and responsibilities. She has deep experience in facilitating dialogue, deliberation, and action, with a diverse range of groups. Her educational background is in management from the SP Jain Institute in Mumbai and social policy from the London School of Economics.

Sana Siddiqui

She is leading our work on content strategy and development, along with the implementation of capacity building programs. With 18 years of experience in designing and executing training and facilitation on varied social - legal issues, she also has a postgraduate law degree and is passionate about taking the power of law to those who need it most.
